Anyone can develop the skills of metaphysics and go beyond the physical, as Unity co-founders Charles and Myrtle Fillmore did more than 100 years ago. These classes help you dig deep into spiritual ideas and teachings. Learn how to metaphysically interpret works ranging from the Bible, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Tao, to Harry Potter and the Wizard of Oz.
Each of these four metaphysics classes will be taught as a four-day intensive (Monday through Thursday) at Unity Renaissance. You may choose from an afternoon class or an evening class each week. Each class focuses on specific topics, as outlined below. Classes need not be taken in order. All qualify for Spiritual Education and Enrichment credit. Love offering.
Metaphysics 1
3-5:30 p.m. or 6-8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, July 11-14
Topics include: Metaphysics and Truth, Life is Consciousness, Self-Knowledge, Meditation, Prayer, Praying with Others.
Metaphysics 2
3-5:30 p.m. or 6-8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, July 25-28
Topics include: Beingness, Oneness, Divine Mind, The Spiritual Universe, The Divine Paradoxes, Jesus the Christ, Jesus Christ, Christ Jesus, The Threefold Nature of Humankind.
Metaphysics 3
3-5:30 p.m. or 6-8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, August 8-11
Topics include: The Four Functions of Consciousness, Thoughts, The Word, Denials and Affirmations, Creation, The Twelve Powers.
Metaphysics 4
3-5:30 p.m. or 6-8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, August 22-25
Topics include: The Kingdom of Heaven, the Creative Process, Metaphysical Basis for Wholeness and Health, Metaphysical Basis for Prosperity, Creating a Metaphysical Treatment Plan.
