An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until July 31, 2018

An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Wednesday, repeating until August 1, 2018

This five-week class is being offered Tuesday nights from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday mornings 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We will skip the week of the Fourth of July.

The class is based on the model of Nonviolent Communication which includes: taking responsibility for our own experience; commitment to increasing our awareness of our own feelings and needs as well as those of the people with whom we interact; and having the capacity to be authentic and compassionate in all circumstances.

Course Overview:

This course is intended:

To help participants learn how to stay in dialogue when emotions are driving us to “shout out” or “shut down.”

Provide knowledge and tools for listening, creating connection, and facilitating dialogue in tough, emotional situations.

The principles and models taught are aligned with spiritual practices.

No fee to attend.  S.E.E. Credited Class: $45 if taking for credit

  1. Two required texts: Crucial Conversations, by Patterson, Grenny, McMillan, and Switzler; and Nonviolent Communications by Marshall Rosenberg, 2nd edition.
