Jesus gave us golden advice for how to live our lives when he said in Matthew 6:33, “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (KJV) Stay attuned to Spirit. That is all you need to do. Focus on your higher self, your own spiritual growth, and all else will fall into place.
We can remember that advice whenever we are tempted to meddle in other people’s lives. Here are the three affirmations I shared last Sunday to help us “mind our own business.”
“Others have their paths in this lifetime, and I have mine.”
“I cannot force others to change in order to make me more comfortable.”
“I am here to live my own life.”
Live your own life! Live it in the glory of God, blessed by Spirit every day. Live it freely, fully, and with great joy!
