ABOUT UNITY RENAISSANCE

Unity Renaissance is a growing, thriving spiritual community located in Chesapeake, Virginia. Our vision is: “A spiritually awakened world, living in peace, love, and joy.” Our mission is: “We transform lives that transform the world.” The church serves about 200 people each Sunday, and has a mailing list of 500. It is part of the Unity movement, often described as “positive, practical, progressive Christianity,” dedicated to following the teachings of Jesus and honoring all paths to God. The Unity message is particularly well-suited to spiritual seekers, the unchurched, and “Christians with questions.”

Unity Renaissance is currently embarking on a facility renovation and expansion project to accommodate growth. To fuel that growth, Unity Renaissance is seeking to increase awareness of its programs and philosophy in the community, in order to serve more people and partner more fully with other organizations. The Director of Communications is considered a key position in helping to get the word out, expand service, and strengthen church relationships.
