
Joleen Zackowski, a native Pennsylvanian, moved to the Chesapeake, Virginia area in 1992. Looking for a church in which to raise her then-infant daughter, she discovered Unity Renaissance in 1993 and has been a joy-filled member ever since. After beginning her career in the field of medical genetics, Joleen switched to teaching in 2004 and was privileged to spend many happy years teaching biology at both the high school and college level before retiring last year. She and her husband, Lee, enjoy hiking and traveling to explore nature together. Joleen is truly grateful for the opportunity to serve on the Board of Trustees.
