Help Us Finish the Year Strong!
Dear Friends,
This has been a momentous year for Unity Renaissance — one of robust growth, innovative classes and programs, and strengthened community. We took on our first full year of higher costs due to our expanded facility (including mortgage payments), developed new rental partnerships, and significantly grew our Adult Education offerings. Sunday attendance grew steadily through the year, and many new young families joined us. This fall, we even had to reconfigure classroom space to accommodate the growing number of children in Youth Education!
For the past two months, we have been preparing ourselves for life at Unity Renaissance after Rev. Paula’s retirement. While we are all working through the emotional aspects of her departure, from an operating standpoint, we are prepared. Your Board has hired Rev. Richard Bunch as our transitional minister, and he will be with us starting in February. In the meantime, our Board and staff will be covering the bases to make sure all goes smoothly. We have already lined up our Sunday speakers through May!
Our Unity Renaissance community is strong and resilient. We have rebounded from the pandemic, and have had a good financial year at a time of considerable growth. With your help, we can close our remaining budget gap and finish 2022 strong. Any amount you can contribute today will help us start the New Year on a solid financial footing.
Won’t you take a moment now to give an extra gift in support of our spiritual home? In addition to the good feeling that comes from giving, your donation is tax-deductible.
Thank you for all you do to make our spiritual community the remarkable place it is — a loving, inclusive spiritual community where people learn, grow, serve, and celebrate together. We are grateful for your support, and grateful for YOU!
Love and Happy New Year,
Your Unity Renaissance Board of Trustees
