Bible Overview: Christian Scriptures with Rev. Laura Barrett Bennett

This course reflects the understanding that the Christian Scriptures (a.k.a., New Testament) were the response of early Christian writers to the person and message of Jesus. Studying these scriptures through a historical lens helps us better understand Jesus and frees us to be inspired by the powerful faith of these first followers.
Rev. Laura Barrett Bennett is one of the foremost Bible instructors in the Unity Movement. She is also the former senior minister at Unity Renaissance. Rev. Laura’s Bible knowledge is legendary, and the two classes she is teaching provide a rare opportunity for students to gain a whole new perspective and understanding on the Bible. Rev. Laura is launching her own alternative ministry and serves on the committee that has transferred the Unity education program to Unity Worldwide Ministries and recreated it as Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute.
Spiritual Education and Enhancement (S.E.E.) Week at Unity Renaissance Sept. 19-23
Unity Renaissance is delighted to host “Fall Into Wisdom,” our 2016 Spiritual Education and Enrichment (S.E.E.) Week from Sept. 19-23. Seven Unity ministers/Licensed Unity Teachers will teach required or elective S.E.E. classes on the Bible, prayer, healing and wholeness, the twelve powers, and living the mystical life today. S.E.E. Week is a great way to get on a fast track to complete Unity’s Personal Development program, which includes 25 classes on a variety of spiritual topics. In an S.E.E. Week, you can complete one-fifth of the entire Personal Development program in just one week! These classes also move you toward becoming a Licensed Unity Teacher or Unity Minister, as desired.

Cost:
