“Integrating my passion for music, the titles of my art are all related to song titles – I will “wax poetic” during the Artist Meet & Greet.

“When I first realized I had a passion for photography – I was about six or seven years old. My father had an old twin lens reflex camera that I would take out of the case and imagine taking pictures. I looked at old barns, trees, birds, flowers, open fields. In the Outer Banks, I loved watching the ocean, wildlife, stars, sunrises and sunsets. I began taking pictures as soon as I could get a camera and film. I took photography, film and video classes in college, while majoring in Mass Communications.

I’ve worked in television news, production and multimedia in the higher education field – including 20+ years as a real estate photographer for marketing purposes – which now includes aerial drone photography.

I’ve always returned to landscapes and street photography, visualizing and creating images in the moment.”
