Unity Renaissance continues to feature the artwork of local Hampton Roads artists on our Sanctuary Walls.  This coming November and December we are featuring a special collection of photography entitled “Serenity.”  Congregant artist, Sandy Eckert, selected pieces to honor her mentor, Laurel Duplesis, from whom she learned the nuances of outdoor photography.

A NY native, Sandy moved to Virginia Beach with her husband, Mel; daughter, Deborah; and son, Richard. Her interest and expertise in photography was recognized professionally as the manager of JC Penney Portraits for almost 20 years.
