Proponents of the model of human consciousness called Spiral Dynamics say we humans are on the brink of a breakthrough. We are poised to rise from Tier One to Tier Two consciousness — a consciousness characterized by greater connection, compassion, and inclusiveness.
The question is: How do we get there?
Tier Two consciousness requires that we learn how to “transcend and include.” Sounds simple, but it is a major leap. Even in Unity, where we pride ourselves on being open-minded and accepting, we have work to do.
